LA RUTA DE LA TAPA

Today begins LA RUTA DE LA TAPA, one of the most anticipated events catering, taking place twice a year in Torrevieja (late November and early April).

It is likely that the "tapas" is one of the most famous Spanish words in the international arena. Tapas are small snacks usually drinks in bars. They can be served hot or cold and take a variety of forms - from simple snacks to more sophisticated dishes. They prepared from a variety of ingredients: vegetables, meats, seafood, eggs, etc.

La Ruta de la Tapa gastronomic event, which brings together more than 40 bars and restaurants in Torrevieja. They prepare two kinds of tapasów:

Tapa tradicional: appetizer or associated with a local kitchen Tapa de deur or snack in the preparation of each facility will have total freedom. The cost of tapas with a glass of wine or beer is 2.50 €

Each participant can vote for the best tapas, thanks to a special ballot, which you can get along with a map in one of the participating bars and restaurants. The card is valid only after the capture of 10 stamps :)

Ruta de la tapa starts from 21.04. to 24.04 and from 28.04. to 01.05. (Thursday-Sunday) between the hours of 12 to 16:30 and 17:30 to 23.
